Homemade AOOC Balsamic Glaze: Better Than Store-Bought

When it comes to balsamic glaze, many people reach for the squeeze bottles in the grocery store. But if you take a look at the labels, you’ll often find emulsifiers, thickeners, and added sugars that mask the pure flavor of real balsamic. By making your own glaze at home with Abingdon Olive Oil Company’s balsamics, you get a clean, simple, and truly gourmet condiment that’s both versatile and delicious.

Why AOOC Balsamic Is Perfect for Glaze

Our balsamics are crafted with high-quality grape must and aged to perfection, so when reduced, they naturally develop a silky-smooth, syrupy texture without the need for additives. By choosing AOOC balsamic, you’re letting the natural flavor shine—whether you want something rich and traditional or playful and fruity.

    2. Bring to a boil: Stir frequently and watch closely to prevent scorching. Once it reaches a boil, immediately reduce the heat to low.
