Orange Teriyaki Salmon

Enjoy this Orange Teriyaki Salmon, baked to perfection and finished with a touch of toasted sesame oil. Served over steamed rice and topped with red pepper flakes, green onions, and sesame seeds, it’s a flavorful and easy meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz.) Salmon Filets

Orange Teriyaki Sauce

  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 4 tsp Water
  • ⅔ cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • ⅓ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp AOOC Toasted Sesame Seed Oil

Toppings (Optional)

  • Sesame Seeds
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Chopped Green Onion

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water.
  2. Add all sauce ingredients, including the cornstarch mixture, to a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl to cool.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F while the sauce cools.
  4. Line a baking sheet with a lightly oiled sheet of foil. Place the salmon filets on the sheet and generously baste with the sauce, reserving about half for later.
  5. Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes or until flaky.
  6. Remove from the oven and baste with the remaining sauce. Broil for about a minute, or until the top is golden and slightly charred.
  7. Serve the salmon over steamed rice, topped with red pepper flakes, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
