Skillet Pierogis with Smoked Sausage & Garlic Olive Oil – A 30-Minute Meal Favorite

When it comes to quick and satisfying dinners, skillet meals are a lifesaver—especially when they come together in just 30 minutes! That’s why we’re excited to include this Skillet Pierogis with Smoked Sausage dish in our 30-Minute Meals series. It’s hearty, packed with flavor, and features one of our customers’ all-time favorite ingredients—AOOC Garlic Olive Oil.

The Magic of Garlic Olive Oil

The key to deep, rich flavor in this skillet meal is AOOC Garlic Olive Oil. Rather than using plain oil, this infused olive oil brings an aromatic, savory depth that enhances every bite. It’s not just olive oil with a hint of garlic—it actually gives off the bold, pungent flavor of fresh garlic, making it a powerhouse ingredient in the kitchen. Since garlic and olive oil are essential to Mediterranean cooking, this oil is incredibly versatile and can be used in just about anything. In this dish, it plays a crucial role at every stage, from browning the smoked sausage to sautéing the onions and peppers, infusing the entire skillet with a warm, garlicky essence that ties all the flavors together beautifully. Beyond this recipe, it’s fantastic drizzled over steaks before grilling, mixed into pasta or mashed potatoes for an instant flavor boost, or simply paired with fresh bread for dipping. If you’re looking to take it to the next level, try pairing it with one of our premium balsamics—Peach Balsamic for a sweet contrast, Blackberry Ginger Balsamic for a fruity kick, Neapolitan Herb Balsamic for an herby balance, or our 18-Year Barrel Aged Traditional Balsamic for a deep, classic finish.

Elevating Flavor with Basiks Original Blend Seasoning

Rather than reaching for multiple spices, we simplify things with Basiks Original Blend Seasoning—a well-balanced mix that adds just the right amount of savory, smoky, and slightly spicy notes. It complements the creamy pierogis, smoky sausage, and fresh veggies effortlessly, pulling everything together in a way that feels both comforting and elevated.

Why We Love This Dish

One of the best things about this recipe is how it transforms simple ingredients into something special. The crispy golden pierogis pair beautifully with the rich, smoky sausage, while the fresh spinach adds a pop of color and brightness. The whole dish comes together in a single skillet, making cleanup a breeze—always a plus for busy nights!

Perfect Pairings

Serve this pierogi and sausage skillet with a side of sour cream for an extra creamy touch. A fresh green salad with a drizzle of AOOC Balsamic adds a refreshing contrast, or pair it with roasted Brussels sprouts for an extra veggie boost.

If you’re looking for a quick and flavorful dinner that delivers on taste and ease, this Garlic Olive Oil Pierogi & Smoked Sausage Skillet is the way to go. Let us know if you try it, and be sure to explore more 30-Minute Meals for simple, delicious inspiration!
