Bright & Citrusy: Orange & Cranberry Granola

If you’ve never made homemade granola before, let me introduce you to your new favorite pantry staple. There’s something special about the smell of warm cinnamon, toasted almonds, and golden oats filling your kitchen. And when you add a splash of AOOC Orange Olive Oil and a hint of AOOC Cranberry Pear Balsamic, this granola transforms into something truly delightful—bright, citrusy, and just the right amount of sweet.

A Breakfast Upgrade

Store-bought granola can be loaded with unnecessary sugars and oils, but when you make it at home, you control exactly what goes into it. This recipe is naturally dairy-free, gluten-free (if using certified GF oats), and refined sugar-freewhen made with Orange Blossom Honey (available in-store only) or pure maple syrup.

It’s crunchy, flavorful, and perfect for:
✔️ Sprinkling over yogurt
✔️ Pairing with milk
✔️ A grab-and-go snack

The Secret to Perfect Granola

The magic of this granola comes from the AOOC Orange Olive Oil, which adds a subtle citrus note, while the AOOC Cranberry Pear Balsamic brings just a touch of tartness to balance the sweetness. The honey (or maple syrup) binds everything together and caramelizes as it bakes, creating those perfect clusters we all love.

For an extra touch of sweetness, you can drizzle a little more honey over the granola during the last five minutes of baking—it gives it a beautiful golden finish!

How to Store It

This granola stays fresh in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks (though let’s be honest, it never lasts that long!). You can also freeze it for longer storage—just let it come to room temp before serving.
